Anytime Loan
In the past the Credit Union has had a "summer loan sale" and a "Christmas loan sale". We are now offering an "anytime loan sale". Now you won't have to wait until the summer or Christmas to borrow up to $5,000.00 at a low rate of 9.0%.

Maximum term for our anytime loan in for 12 months. The rate may be higher based upon your credit score.

HISTORY
The Niagara Wheatfield Federal Credit Union was chartered by NCUA on October 28th 1960. Our original charter was for employees and elected members of the Board of Education of the Niagara Wheatfield Central School District #1 who worked in Niagara County, New York; employees of the credit union; members of their immediate families and organizations of such persons.

During our first full year of operation (1961) our total income for the year was $71.78, expenses totaled $34.05 and we had a net income of $37.73. Our unsecured loan limit was $200.00 and our secured loan limit was $400.00, and at the end of 1961 we had a total membership of 83 members.

The hours of operation were from 3:30 to 4:30 the first Friday after each payday.

We currently have approximately 3,000 members and have expanded our services to better serve our membership (click on services for a list of services we currently offer).
