Anytime Loan
In the past the Credit Union has had a "summer loan sale" and a "Christmas loan sale". We are now offering an "anytime loan sale". Now you won't have to wait until the summer or Christmas to borrow up to $5,000.00 at a low rate of 9.0%.

Maximum term for our anytime loan in for 12 months. The rate may be higher based upon your credit score.

Tax Return Information
Only members who earned more than $10.00 in dividends will receive a 1099 form in the mail. Your year end statement does show the total dividends earned and any interest you paid on your loans. Please keep a copy of this statement for your tax records. Members who have a real estate loan will receive a 1098 statement in the mail showing the interest they paid during the year.

IRA Information
A reminder to our members: we do offer IRA accounts and you are able to deposit funds into those accounts up to April 15th 2012 and take the deductions for the year 2011.

Christmas Clubs
Now that Christmas is over, it’s never too late to start saving for the upcoming year! Open a Christmas club account today! Make deposits whenever you choose, but you CAN NOT HAVE IT! The funds will automatically transfer to your share account on the first business day in October, and then you can spend until your heart is content!

NWFCU Scholarship Committee News
Applications for the NWFCU 14th annual scholarship competition will be available at the Credit Union office, Niagara Wheatfield Senior High Counseling Center and sponsoring companies on or just before the Credit Union’s annual meeting in March, 2012. There will be $1,000.00 worth of scholarship awards given to one-two quality applicants. As a reminder, the applicant must be a member in good standing at the Credit Union and be a senior in high school or a high school graduate of any age who is considering attending college. Applicants will also be eligible if they are presently attending a post-secondary undergraduate accredited school, college or university and have not been a past recipient of a NWFCU scholarship.

Correct Account Information
If you are a member setting up a NEW direct deposit or automatic withdraw from your account, please contact the credit union for the correct information to avoid any delays. Our ABA number, also known as routing and transit is 222 382 399. Your share draft/checking account number will always be a 14 digit number. This information is found on the bottom of your checks, but please feel free to call the credit union to verify the information! If you are depositing or withdrawing from your share/savings account, the ABA is the same, but the account number will not be 14 digits. Again, please call the credit union to verify your account information for NEW direct deposits!

Coloring Bonanza!
A winter scene picture was mailed to our younger Building Block Club members, be sure to mail or bring your colored picture back to us so we can post it in the office! Please do not put your account number on the picture, but very neatly write your name on it so we know who returned it! Have fun coloring the picture and do a good job!

Did You Know?
Did you know that if you have a NWFCU MasterCard, there are several ways in which you can make a payment? All of our options will free up the available credit on your MasterCard account the next day. In addi-tion to making your payment online using the WWW.EZCARDINFO.COM website, you have the option of phoning our office to have the payment deducted from your share or share draft account. If you don’t have the time to call, or if you are worried you will forget to call, let us set you up for automatic payments which can be deducted once a week, bi-weekly, once a month with a specified amount or once a month paying the statement balance in full. The once a month payments will be deducted from your account on the Friday before the MasterCard Due Date. Stop in today or call our staff and we will be happy to set you up for one of our easy payment options.
