We have amusement park all day passes now on sale, Darien Lake tickets are $22.00 and Fantasy Island tickets are $16.00. Buy your tickets at our teller stations and save big over the ticket price at the park.

Scholarship awards Given
The Scholarship Committee has announced that Lindsay Beatty, Bradley Kane and Erin Keegan were our three Scholarship winners for our 11th annual College Scholarships. Each winner will receive a one time $500.00 scholarship. The Board of Directors and Office Staff would like to congratulate these three worthy candidates as well as thank the several other candidates for submitting an application.

Gas Card Give-A-Way
Congratulations to Paula Armagost for winning our $100.00 gas card give-a-way. Paula became eligible for our drawing when she was approved for an auto loan during our auto loan sale. With the climbing gas prices, we felt a gas card was a nice “thank you” to our members who financed their auto through our Credit Union. Who knows, maybe you can be the next winner!

Phone Scam
There is currently a phone scam targeting financial institution across the country where members receive a call stating there are problems with their credit or debit card and to call a toll –free number. Callers are instructed to “press 1” to re-activate their card, The system then prompts the caller to enter his or her card number, expiration date and verification code.

This is a scam and Niagara Wheatfield FCU will never call requesting members to enter confidential information to re-activate their accounts or cards.

Text Messaging Scam
There is currently a credit or debit card text messaging scam targeting financial institutions across the country. The text message instructs the recipient to call a toll –free number regarding suspicious authorization. Once the number is called the system solicits cardholder information.

This text message is a scam and the text messages were not authorized by the Niagara Wheatfield FCU in any way. If you have received this text message, please do not call the toll-free number and provide information.
